Can't find your flight details?
We can often locate the flight number for you if you are able to provide the following info:
- Flight Date
- Route - e.g. Manchester -> Malaga
If you are not sure of the flight date then checking the following can be useful to help locate it:
- Email account
When you book a flight/holiday they will usually send you a booking confirmation. This should also contain your flight number/booking reference, so it’s worth looking!
It will often be stamped upon arrival at your destination. Especially when travelling outside the EU.
If you scroll back through your timeline, it will actually go back to the day you signed up. So if you posted a status or uploaded photos on holiday it can help to work out the flight date.
- Travel Agent
If you booked through a travel agent, they should be able to give you all of the info needed. Remember, you are not claiming against the travel agent so they should have no problem giving you the details
- Luggage Tags
It's worth checking to see if the tags are still on your luggage from when you checked your bags. The tags should confirm not only the date but also the flight number!
If you were travelling with others it’s worth asking them if they can remember or have any of the info above.
- Online Banking/Card Statements
Some airlines will use the booking reference as a payment reference which will appear on your statement when you pay via credit/debit card. Your online banking should go back 6 years so it's worth taking a look to see if the booking reference is on there!
Remember, the average claim is worth around £1000 - so it’s worth a bit of detective work to find the correct info!
If you’ve tried the above and are still not sure, feel free to sign up with as much info as you have and one of the team will come back to you if needed.
